DEAD KENNEDYS
DEAD KENNEDYS were one of the most popular and important American Hardcore Punk bands of the late 70s and early 80s. This legendary act was formed in 1978 by guitarist EAST BAY RAY when he placed an ad in a music magazine to create a band. The vocalist JELLO BIAFRA and the bassist KLAUS FLOURIDE later joined him with the drummer TED (who was replaced by P.H. PELIGRO at the end of 1980). They became the most political and dangerous band in Hardcore according to many observers, such as Christians and right-wing politicians.
